Chapter 1: Spirit, Body and Soul
The Trinity:
SPIRIT
Body & Soul
ONE Creator, GOD the Father,Son,& Holy Spirit/’Wonderful Counselor’ = Spirit, Body,& Soul:
The FATHER, “God is SPIRIT” (John 4;23&24), is “invisible”, (Colossians 1;15),& is “the Light of Life” (John 8;12/Revelation 21;23).
God’s Spirit is the “Greater” entity of His, our Creator’s 3 part Spiritual Being, (John 10;29,& 14;28,& John 6;63/Genesis 2;7).
And ‘in the beginning’, since “before the creation of the world”…, (John 1;1,3,11&14,17;5&24),
the Son, Jesus Christ, the ‘Alpha & Omega’ “was, and is, and forever shall be…,” (Revelation 1;8,14-16, 4;8, & Hebrews 13;8),
“the Image of GOD”, (the em-BODY-ment) of the Creator God our “Everlasting Father”. . .(Isaiah 9;6,7;14,Colossians 1;15&16, II Corinthians 4;4&6, John 12;44&45, 14;7&9, 1;1,3,11&14,& REVELATION 1;8,14-16,& 21;6&7).
And in His, God’s “Image/Likeness”; we are…, (mankind is), created, Spirit,Body,& Soul. . .(Genesis 1;26&27 & I Thessalonians 5;23).
The Holy Spirit; God’s Soul, is the ‘Sevenfold’ attributes of the Lord’s presence/Spirit (Isaiah 11;2-5),& is…,
referred to as the “Wonderful Counselor”. (See Psalm 11;5, Isaiah 1;14, 9;6, 7;14, Matthew 1;23, 18;20, 28;20,& John 14;16,17,18,23&26)
Our Creator GOD, the FATHER, Son,& Holy Spirit/Wonderful Counselor = SPIRIT, Body,& Soul.
And created in God’s image/likeness, mankind is ALSO a three part Spiritual Being, “SPIRIT, Soul,& Body”. (I Thessalonians 5;23/Genesis 1;26 & 27).
The ‘Greater’ entity of one’s being, is the Spirit; “the Spirit gives LIFE, flesh counts for nothing”…, (John 6;63). (Connect John 6;63,I Corinthians 3;16,& II Corinthians 3;17, with John 1;1,3,11&14, James 1;18, Proverbs 30;5&6, Hebrews 4;12,& Revelation 19;11-13/Genesis 2;7/Ecclesiastes 12;7.)
The Soul…, is the Heart & Mind; one’s thoughts, will, & emotions,& the Body, is the Image/’Temple’ of the SPIRIT. (Connect I Corinthians 3;16, II Corinthians 3;17,& I Corinthians 6;17/Luke 2;26&11…, with Revelation 21;22).
***As one’s body is subject to the SPIRIT, so the ‘Son’ is subject to the ‘Father’***
The SECRET of a ‘stronger’ (Isaiah 41;10), “closer” (James 4;8), relationship with our Creator God (Colossians 1;15&16), is to faithfully,& “earnestly seek” (Hebrews 11;6), the ”Hidden Treasures” of “the Word” of ‘Truth’…, Jesus Christ. (Connect Colossians 2;3 & Proverbs 2;2).
When man’s word Trinity is ‘Spiritually Discerned’, (I Corinthians 2;9-14/Proverbs 3;21,& 30;5&6),& is redefined…,
according to “the Word” of ‘Truth’, Jesus Christ, (John 1;1,3,11&14,12;45,14;6,7,9&14,James 1;18,Hebrews 4;12,& Revelation 19;11-13-15), There will be a revival of His, God’s Church (of unmeasurable proportions) (See & connect Matthew 16;15-18, I Corinthians 8;19,& 58/Exodus 3;14/Revelation 1;8,14-16,& 21;6&7).
“If my people who are called by my name would humble themselves & pray, & seek my Face…,” (Connect II Chronicles 7;14 with Colossians 1;15&16, II Corinthians 4;4&6,John 12;45, 14;7&9,& REVELATION 1;8,14&16,& 21;6&7)
God’s ‘Children’, (See John 1;10,11&12), are to Worship/(PRAY) &HONOR “the LORD GOD” in Spirit & in ‘TRUTH’. (see John 4;24, 12;44&45, II Corinthians 3;17&18, I Samuel 2;30, Isaiah 7;14/9;6,& REVELATION 1;8,14-16,& 21;6&7)
According to “the Truth” (John 14;6,7,9&14), of “the Word” (John 1;1,3,11&14/Proverbs 30;5&6/Hebrews 4;12/Revelation 19;11-13-15),
“the Lord”, “God our Savior”, (Luke 2;26&11,Revelation 1;8,Psalms 25;5,27;9,I Timothy 1;1,& Jude 1;25)…,
is ”ONE” three part ‘Spiritual Being’…, (Deuteronomy 6;4, II Kings 19;15&19,& John 10;30/12;45).
GOD, (“the FATHER, Son, & Holy Spirit”…, Matthew 28;19), is “ONE” three part ‘Spiritual Being’. . .
SPIRIT (John 4;24/II Corinthians 3;17), His em-Body-ment (Revelation 1;8,14-16),& Soul (Psalm 11;5&Isaiah 1;14).
“God is Spirit”. (John 4;23&24,II Corinthians 3;17/Luke 2;26&11,& Revelation 1;8,14,15&16/21;6&7)
He, our Creator God, is a Three Part ‘Spiritual BEING’, Spirit, Body,& Soul…, ”the Father, Son,& Holy Spirit. (See Colossians 1;15&16,Matthew 1;23,Isaiah 7;14,9;6,& Matthew 28;19)
The ‘FATHER’, “God is Spirit”, “the Light of Life”, & is the “GREATER” entity of His three part ‘Spiritual Being’. (John 4;23&24,8;12,19&58,10;29,& 14;28, Isaiah 60;19,& Revelation 21;6,7,11&23)
The ‘Son’, since “the beginning”…, “before the creation of the world…, (Genesis 1;1, John 1;1,3,11&14, 17;5&24,& John 8;58/Exodus 3;14)…,
“was, & is”…, (Revelation 1;8,14-16), & always will be (Hebrews 13;8)…,
the “IMAGE of GOD” the ‘Everlasting Father’. Our merciful Creator, is “the Lord”, “GOD our Savior”. (See John 1;1,3,11,14&29, 8;19&58, 12;44&45, 14;7,9&14, Exodus 3;14, Psalms 25;5, 27;9, Luke 1;47, 2;26&11, I Timothy 1;1, 2;3, Titus 3;4,& Jude 1;25, II Corinthians 4;4&6, Colossians 1;15&16, Hebrews 1;3, Isaiah 7;14, 9;6, 43;10&11, 45;5,6,21&22, & REVELATION 1;8,14-16,& 21;6&7.)

The Holiness of the Lord, “God our Savior’s” Seven Fold SPIRIT (Isaiah 11;2&Revelation 1;4,4;5,&5;6)…,
is the Lord our God’s “Soul” (Psalm 11;5,& Isaiah 1;14). His Essence/Presence is our “Counselor”. (see John 14;16,17&23/Isaiah 9;6)
The Lord, God, our Savior’s Spirit, (HIS Soul, HIS Essence(,our ‘Counselor’ becomes one with our Spirit…,
at the moment of our Salvation. (I Corinthians 3;16,6;17,II Corinthians 3;17&18,Isaiah 11;2-5,& John 14;16,17,23&26)
“I AM with you”, (John 8;19&58/Exodus 3;14,Matthew 18;20,& 28;20/Revelation 1;8,14-16,& 21;6&7).
CREATED in the Lord, God our Savior’s “Image/Likeness”, Mankind, is also a ‘three part spiritual Being’…,
“Spirit, Soul, &Body”. (see First Thessalonians 5;23,& Genesis 1;26&27)
The Soul, is one’s Heart & Mind, Thoughts, Will, & Emotions, (the ‘ESSENCE’ of one’s Character)…,
& the Spirit, is the ‘greater’ entity of one’s three part ‘Spiritual Being’. (Ecclesiastes 11;5, 12;7, Genesis 2;7, John 6;63, I Corinthians 2;10-14, John 10;29, 14;28, Acts 17;24-28,& I Corinthians 6;17).
As one’s flesh, one’s image, the ‘Body’ is subject to the Spirit, so also, the ‘Son’ Jesus Christ is “the image of…,”, yet is subject to…, the Father. (John 12;45,14;7&9,II Corinthians 4;4&6,Colossians 1;15&16,Revelation 1;8,14-16,& 21;6&7)
As we don’t know the path of the wind, or how life, (or the Spirit), enters the body being formed in a mother’s womb, so we cannot understand the work of God, who is the Maker of all things.
(Ecclesiastes 11;5, Amplified, English Standard, & KJV. Also see Genesis 1;27, 2;7,& Ecclesiastes 12;7).
The Spirit placed within the body while in our Mother’s Womb before Birth, determines our Inborne Temperament’s needs, strengths,& weaknesses. (Body, Soul, & Spirit) The body’s physical needs are food, water, shelter, activity & REST. Different degrees of need are within one’s Soul, (one’s Heart & Mind/one’s thoughts, will,& emotions),& they are: Social ‘Inclusion’, Will & ‘Control‘,& love and ‘Affection’. And one’s SPIRITUAL need, is: a relationship with…, the Worship of…, and one’s submition to God our Savior. (Revelation 1;8,14-18,16;7,21;6&7,& 22;12&13)
“As for men, God tests them so that they may see that they are like the animals. As one dies, so dies the other. . .Is everything Meaningless? All come from dust, and to dust all return.” (Ecclesiastes 3;18)
“Let us eat and drink, you say, for tomorrow we die!” (Isaiah 22;13, & First Corinthians 15;32)
“No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him.”
For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the man’s spirit within him? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. The man WITHOUT God’s Spirit (I Corinthians 6;17), does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are FOOLISHNESS to him, and he cannot understand them because they are spiritually discerned. (I Corinthians 2;9-14.)
“He who unites himself with the Lord is ONE with him in spirit.” (Connect First Corinthians 6;17, with I Corinthians 3;16,& II Corinthians 3;17&18)…,
& then, “The dust returns to the ground it came from, and the spirit returns to God who gave it.” (Ecclesiastes 12;7.)
Connect John 5;22 For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son…,
with John 12;44&45, Then Jesus cried out, “When a man believes in me, he does not believe in me only, but in the one who sent me. 45When he looks at me, he sees the one who sent me.”
& Matthew 7;22…, “Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord…,’
& Revelation 16;7, “Yes, LORD GOD ALMIGHTY, true and just are your judgments”. (See Revelation 1;8,14-16,& 21;6&7)
& Revelation 22;12&13, “I’ll give to each person according to what they’ve done. I AM the Alpha & Omega…,
the First & the Last, the Beginning & the End.” (see Revelation 21;6&7,& 1;8,13-18).
&22;17, (The ‘Last Invitation’), “Come”…, & “take the free gift of the water of life”.
[Again, see 21;6&7,22;1&2, & connect Psalm 42;1&2,W/John 4;14,& 7;37 On the last and greatest day of the Feast, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to ME and drink. 38Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him.”]Since Adam & Eve, as a result of ‘Free Will’, SIN separated our Spirit from HIS Holy Spirit, & for each person from birth, there’s a VOID. Our Spirit is missing something, longs for, & searches for Fulfillment in a reunion with HIM; our Spirit yearns for Fellowship with our Creator, GOD. NOT realizing what is missing, we try to satisfy that yearning or Emptyness. We pursue earthly desires, Material possessions, & worldly pleasures. The Lord, God our Savior patiently waits…, &…, if or when we choose to earnestly seek Him; (Hebrews11;6)…, HE”REWARDS”, fulfills, strengthens, & provides a Blend and Balance in these three Areas of ourSPIRIT, Soul, & Body. (SPIRITUALLY,emotionally & physically) It’s the Lord God our Savior’s Will, that each of us, (with spiritual, emotional, & physical Needs, Strengths,& Weaknesses), SEEK, follow,& grow closer in a relationship with HIM, our Creator!
This enables us to live, in Health & Harmony with each other. (see Deuteronomy 4;29, Psalm 53;2, Isaiah 41;10, I Corinthians 6;17, &Philippians 4;13)
Conclusion:
Spiritual, emotional, & physical healing, empowerment, & fulfillment takes place, as we submit to His, God’s Will, consistently Loving & serving, while fervently seeking ‘the Way & the truth’, through FAITH in “the Word” of ‘Truth’, Jesus Christ. (John 1;3,11&14,14;6,7&9, 8;19&58/Exodus 3;14/Revelation 1;8,14-16,21;6&7)
The goal of “Inborne Temperament”, Faith Based Counseling, (the NCCA’s ‘Creation Therapy’), is to assist an individual in understanding how to live out God given strengths, & overcome weaknesses in healthy ways.
Temperament Theory is based on understanding the inner man, and applying that knowledge to bring balance in all three areas of the temperament; Inclusion, Control, & Affection. (Needs vary, depending on age and development.)
In each of the three (emotional) areas of one’s Temperament, there are recognized strengths & weaknesses.
When one’s Inborne Temperament is pinpointed & understood; we can use this knowledge to provide selfunderstanding in many areas of life. (see Colossians 2;3, Proverbs 2;2,& John 14;6,7&9)
And ‘Selfunderstanding’ may lead towards:
- a deeper self awareness
- stronger, more fulfilling marriages, family relationships and friendships
- appropriate decision making strategies better career and hobby choices
- healthy ways to counteract stress and pressure
- development of spiritual maturity
- A peace, joy, and feeling of significance that increases with emotional/spiritual growth & maturity.
Regarding one’s A. P. S. Report’;it’s important to be aware that an Inborne Temperament Profile indicates one’s ‘Temperament Traits’, & that it is not, an analysis or declaration of the person’s character.
A Temperament Profile EMPHASIZES what is DEEP within one’s Spirit,& one’s character is not an Inheritance, it is the result of a person’s life Choices. One’s Character is the result of one’s learned & chosen Behavior. One’s Inborne Temperament + Learned & chosen Behavior results in one’s Personality;a ‘MASK’ of how we want to APPEAR to others.
